Finally it's possible! The GIMP!. GIMP is like a Linux version of Photoshop but there is no CMYK support and other stuff yeat.
There is a plugin called "ufraw" for GIMP. Ufraw works like a Camera Raw for Photoshop. You can adjust almost the same settings in both but for some reason ufraw canno't detect my camera's WB settings. Fortunally auto WB works very well.
Despite the limitations GIMP is really neat program for free software! You can save $600 if you don't need CMYK or 16bit tools.
Gphoto2 is the program for Linux which can detect Canon 20D. You need least version 2.1.6 for that. There is a good installation and usage guide on the web.
Who need Photoshop if you can do same things for free?
